Northwest shooting closes area near Gallery Place Metro

WASHINGTON (AP) - An area near the Gallery Place Metro station in northwest Washington has been closed following a shooting.
The incident occurred about 5:45 a.m. Monday near 7th and H streets in the Chinatown area.
Police found one man suffering from a gunshot wound.
He has been taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are still on the scene investigating.
