Prince George's County will operate six cooling centers this week to help residents cope with the sweltering temperatures.

Temperatures are expected to stay in the high 90s through Wednesday, hitting around 101 degrees Tuesday.

The cooling centers will operate through July 20.

The Camp Springs Senior Activity Center is only for seniors and will be open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The rest will be open for the general public from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.
