Water restrictions lifted for Montgomery and Prince George's counties
July 1, 2012 - 10:34 am
LAUREL, Md. (AP) - Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission says mandatory water restrictions have been lifted for all customers in Montgomery and Prince George's counties.
The water restrictions were put into place after the company experience challenges moving water through the water filtration plant systems.
WSSC's water was always safe to drink, but the company needed to produce and distribute enough water for a hot day and have reserves for fire hydrants.
