Chinatown attack injures homeless man

Police say a homeless man was beaten with a cane in Chinatown early Wednesday morning.

Authorities say the attack occurred in the 500 block of H Street, NW shortly before 2 a.m.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police say.

Authorities do not have a motive or suspects in the incident.
