D.C. hosts ribbon-cutting for new Sherman Circle lights
August 29, 2012 - 05:13 am
D.C. Councilmember Muriel Bowser will join other city leaders Wednesday in Northwest for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating new street lights at Sherman Circle.
The event is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The $750,000 lighting project was created to increase safety in that community.
The move comes more than two years after the murder of Catholic University graduate, Neil Godleski.
Eric Forman is currently on trial for allegedly shooting Godleski and stealing $60 from him.
