Police say Deandre Yates was found in the 6100 block of Surrey Square Lane fatally shot inside a residence. Yates is a promoter for Total Control Band.

Police say an unknown suspect forced his way into the residence and the victim and suspect exchanged gunfire. The suspect then fled.
