August 3, 2012 - 06:47 am
As the Washington Nationals prepare for a double header Friday with the Marlins, ABC7’s Steve Chenevey got a chance to talk with ESPN Analyst Tim Kurkjian about the why he thinks the Nats can make it all the way to the World Series.
Nationals’ infielders Ryan Zimmerman & Steve Lombardozzi also talked about why the team is so good this year.
It’s no secret that the team is full of talent, but they’re not taking any chances. In fact, Zimmerman and Lombardozzi even shared their game day superstitions.
Friday's first game is set for 4:30 p.m.
After a 3-0 win over the Phillies, the Nats have a two and a half game lead on the Braves.
