Facebook shares dip below $20 per share for the first time
August 2, 2012 - 01:08 pm
Shares in Facebook dipped below $20 per share for the first time in its tumultuous trading run on NASDAQ, Mashable reports.
The stock price is a far cry from what it reached on the day it was initially offered. On May 18, Facebook shares hit the market and, at one point, reached a price of about $45 per share, but quickly dove.
Facebook shares closed day one on NASDAQ at $38.23, which makes Thursday's price point nearly half of what it was less than four months ago.
