Most 12-year-old girls are focused on having fun, but not Gabrielle Jordan Williams. She has her own company and a long list of accomplishments.

She is the owner of Jewelz of Jordan, which sells custom, hand-made pieces across the country.

Williams says she loves to make jewelry. From necklaces to earrings to bracelets, she’s done it all.

“They usually think it’s my mom, but then they see me and I shake their hand and I say ‘I'm Gabrielle Jordan Williams from Jewelz of Jordan’ and they say ‘Ohhh, you're Jewelz of Jordan.’ And their eyes get wide and they are like ‘oh my gosh, you are so young,’” Gabrielle said.

The greater Prince George’s County business roundtable just named the 12-year-old CEO of the Year – the youngest to ever receive the honor.

“It was just so great to see that I’m the youngest one ever and I am basically leaving a legacy for other young children to come and they can receive an award as well,” she said.

Gabrielle is also an honor roll student, a motivational speaker and a published author.

“To see all those books with my face on it and it says the making of a young entrepreneur, it just made me feel so great to see that I actually accomplished it,” she said.

“Really just dream big and do everything that you may feel you can't do, but you may really be able to do it,” she said.

In the future, Gabrielle plans to go to college then gemology school.
