Jimmie Will Rodgers charged with sexual battery of a minor

A 77-year-old man has been arrested on sexual battery charges after a relative allegedly found explicit pictures of his 11-year-old daughter in the man’s bedroom.

Jimmie Will Rodgers is charged with three counts of animate object sexual penetration and two counts of aggravated sexual battery on a child less than 13 years of age.

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office says Rodgers committed sexual offenses on the child at his home, between April and August. He is being held without bond.
