Katherine Jackson co-guardian named, children living arragements sought
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Katherine Jackson's attorney is planning to file legal documents to determine the living arrangements of Michael Jackson's three children.
The new proposed arrangement would name the children's cousin, TJ Jackson, as co-guardian to help Katherine Jackson raise them.
The plan is expected to be filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court. It appears designed to remove pressure from the 82-year-old grandmother who was named in Michael Jackson's will as the children's sole guardian. Prince, Paris and Blanket currently live with her in Calabasas.
The move comes in the wake of a family dispute that spilled into the media. Michael Jackson's brother Jermaine Jackson called for a truce among the siblings Wednesday. He expressed regret for the public turmoil and urged peace, love and healing.
