Kobina Ebo Abruquah charged with Riverdale murder
A 40-year-old Riverdale man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to the Aug. 8 shooting death of a man on Kenilworth Avenue.
Prince George's County Police say that Kobina Ebo Abruquah faces first-degree murder charges in connection to the shooting of Ivan Alvaro Aguirre-Herrera, who was found dead in his Riverdale home on Wednesday afternoon.
Abruquah is being held without bond.
Authorities say they responded to Aguirre-Herrera's home in the 6200 block of Kenilworth Avenue just after 4 p.m. Wednesday for a welfare check. When they arrived, they found the victim shot. He was pronounced dead on at the scene.
Two days later, Abruquah was interviewed by authorities and charged with Aguirre-Herrera's murder.
The shooting remains under investigation.
