Maryland I-495 accident involving six cars, dump truck

Maryland State Police say "a couple people" are hospitalized after an accident involving six cars and a dump truck on I-495 at Connecticut Avenue.
Police got a report of the accident at around 6:05 Wednesday morning.
Police are unsure of the extent of the injuries or the condition of the victims at this time, but said the accident reconstruction team was not called to the scene.
All lanes were shut down, but later reopened with delays extending up to nine miles.
