An Amber Alert issued for a one-year-old boy who was allegedly abducted by his father from District Heights has been canceled overnight after the child was located safe, according to Prince George's County Police.
Police Spokesperson Cpl. Larry Johnson says Cesar Steven Martinez found with his father Julio Arriaza Moya, 31, shortly before 12 a.m. in the District Heights area.
Moya is charged with abduction and two counts of second degree assault, police say.
Maryland State Police issued an Amber Alert after Martinez was abducted near Nimitz Drive Tuesday.
