Police investigate Southeast sexual assault
D.C. Police are looking for a suspect in a sexual assault that happened in Southeast Tuesday night.
Police say the female victim was walking in the 4800 block of Benning Road when she was approached by the suspect. The man pulled out a gun and forced her to walk into a back alley in the 4400 block of E Street.
The suspect took the victim's money and then sexually assaulted her.
Investigators describe the suspect as a black man with a dark complexion who is in his 20s. He is 5'10" to 5'11" tall with short hair, a beard and a mustache. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.
