Woodbridge shooting leaves two men wounded
Two suspects in a double shooting that happened in a Woodbridge neighborhood Tuesday afternoon has been arrested and charged, police say.
Prince William County Police say that Theo Victor Claridge and Trevon Antonio Tucker, both of Woodbridge faces multiple charges, including two counts of aggravated malicious wounding, after Claridge allegedly shot two men during an escalating dispute.
The shooting happened in the 15200 block of Wentwood Lane just after 3:30 p.m., police say. According to officials, Claridge and Tucker encountered the victims, aged 20 and 26, in the parking lot of a nearby shopping center. An argument ensued, after which the suspects followed the victims to back to a house on Wentwood.
A physical altercation then took place, during which Claridge allegedly shot the 20-year-old victim in the chest and the 26-year-old victim in the leg. Both were airlifted to an area hospital and are expected to survive.
Claridge and Tucker were then tracked down at a nearby home in the 1800 block of Heather Glen Court, where both were arrested.
Claridge faces additional charges of using a firearm in commission of a felony, shooting from an occupied vehicle and shooting into an occupied dwelling. Both he and Tucker are being held without bond.
