Annapolis shooting sparks gas scare
September 10, 2012 - 04:21 am
Two men were seriously injured in a shooting in Annapolis that sparked a gas leak scare.
The shooting occurred along the 1100 block of Medgar Evers Streets, near Douglas Street, just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
Annapolis Police say one man was shot in the head, back and buttocks. He listed in critical condition at a Baltimore hospital.
Another man was shot in the back, police say. He was taken to Prince George’s County Hospital.
Hazmat crews were called to the scene over fears a stray bullet had hit a gas line, but, police say, it appears the line was not damaged.
