Bank of America website slowdown appears to have passed

Bank of America's website seems to have returned to normal operation Wednesday, a day after it was the target of an apparent cyber attack connected to the "Innocence of Muslims" film that has caused protests worldwide.
According to CNN, the banking giant's website slowed to a crawl for some users and was even not available at all for periods of time throughout Tuesday.
An Information Week reports says that a group protesting the anti-Islam film which has caused worldwide outrage claimed to have been behind a cyber attack targeting Bank of America's website.
