Dulles International Airport bomb threat reported
September 24, 2012 - 09:15 pm
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) says parking garages at Dulles International Airport have re-opened following reports of a bomb threat.
Police didn't find anything during their searches of the airport's daily parking garages Monday night.
The MWAA tweeted that flights arriving at Dulles were allowed to proceed to the gate areas after being temporarily put on hold. Both terminals and runways at the airport remained open during the police investigation.
The MWAA further advises those with flights out of Dulles tonight to check the status of said flight; the airport is open and operating, but several flights were delayed.
