The Frederick News-Post reports that a Frederick County jury found 28-year-old Charles Moore Jr. guilty Thursday of attempted second-degree murder of Sgt. Wayne Trapp and attempted first-degree murder of Romell Allen.

Allen was wounded in the 2005 shooting outside a nightclub. Moore denied on the witness stand Thursday that he fired at the men. But Trapp testified Tuesday he had no doubt that it was Moore who shot at him.

Moore's 2006 conviction was overturned on issues related to jury selection. A second trial in 2011 ended in a hung jury. His sentencing is set for Nov. 15.
