Christopher Darnell Alexander arrested for sexually assaulting minor

A Frederick man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 7-year-old child he had previously watched, police say.
Christopher Darnell Alexander, 31, is charged with one count sex abuse of a minor, one count of third degree sex offense and another count of second degree assault.
On September 9, Frederick County Police were called to 1300 block of David Lane for report of a sexual offense. After an investigation, an arrest warrant was issued and Alexander was taken into custody on September 26 without incident.
