D.C. marks national HIV testing day

Thursday is National Gay Men's HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, and local health officials are encouraging HIV testing at locations in D.C.
Whitman-Walker Health is hosting testing events at the following locations:
• Human Rights Campaign, 1640 Rhode Island Ave., NW, 11:00 am-1:00 pm
• MPD Gay and Lesbian Liaison Unit, 1369-A Connecticut Ave., NW, 5:00-9:00 pm
• Whitman-Walker Health Elizabeth Taylor Medical Center, 1701 14th St., NW, 9:00 am-5:00 pm (also the Gay Men's Health & Wellness Clinic, 6:00-8:00 pm)
• Whitman-Walker Health Max Robinson Center, 2301 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave., SE, 9:00 am-4:30 pm
