D.C. principals to get performance-based salaries

D.C. school principals and assistant principals will soon join teachers and other employees in having their salaries based on performance evaluations.
The Washington Examiner reports administrators’ salaries will increase by $2,000 to $5,000 when they earn high ratings on the “Impact” evaluation tool.
The moves come after the city received a five-year, more than $62 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
