Glen Burnie attempted abduction suspect sought
Anne Arundel County police are searching for a man who they say tried to pull a 27-year-old woman into his van in Glen Burnie.
Authorities say that attempted abduction occurred in the area of 5th and Delmar avenues shortly before 10 p.m. on September 17.
The woman told police that the man was driving a white work van when he tried to pull her inside the vehicle. After a brief struggle, the victim ran way unharmed, police say.
Police canvassed with area, but were unable to locate the suspect, who is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 30 years old with short, black hair and white paint on his arm. He was wearing a blue and white shirt and light, blue jeans.
Police say the suspect’s van has a ladder rack holding a ladder, tinted windows and a sliding side door.
