Handgun confiscated at Reagan National Airport

Transportation Safety Administration officers at Reagan National Airport confiscated a loaded handgun from a West Virginia man heading to Detroit on Friday.
The 49-year-old man, who was cited on a state weapons charge, was allowed to catch his flight to Detroit.
Authorities say the man had the handgun in his carry-on bag. It was detected at a checkpoint and confiscated.
