Today’s peek at the politically charged pop-culture world finds a couple of slackers, someone who leaves you scratching your head, many other times, and the mystery music video.
DUDE: Answer the phone, per Us Weekly, “In a new Obama for America campaign video, President Barack Obama enlists the help of notorious, snack-happy slackers Harold and Kumar (played by John Cho and Kal Penn) just before the Democratic National Convention kicks off in Charlotte, North Carolina. "Dude, who was that? It sounded intense," Cho, 40, asks Penn as he hangs up his phone. MEANWHILE: Um, what?. . .,per the Huffington Post, “Today in mixtape politics: Nicki Minaj's appearance on Lil Wayne's new release, Dedication 4, includes a couplet that suggests she's voting for GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Here are the lyrics in question: "I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney / You lazy b----es is f---ing up the economy."
