John Hopkins Hospital holding job fair for health information technology students
BALTIMORE (AP) - Johns Hopkins Hospital says it is holding a job fair for health information technology graduates.
The hospital says job opportunities are plentiful in the field which is being helped by financial incentives from the federal government for doctors and hospitals to use electronic health records.
Johns Hopkins says it is holding the job fair Thursday afternoon for about 200 recent graduates in the Baltimore-Washington area.
The hospital says the fair will allow the students to meet with representatives from about 20 companies looking to hire staff.
Johns Hopkins says it is co-sponsoring the fair with George Washington University and the University of Maryland University College. Registration is required to attend the job fair. To register, click here.
