September 26, 2012 - 07:44 pm
The death of a man injured in a 2008 shooting has been ruled a homicide.
On June 3, 2008, Joshua Hardy of Southeast was shot in the 1200 block of Pleasant Street, SE, just after 11 p.m.
Four years later, on Sept. 20, Hardy was found unconscious and was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner deemed Hardy's death a homicide the next day.
In 2009, a juvenile male was charged with assault with intent to kill. He pleaded guilty and remains incarcerated for the crime.
