Metro weekend work may delay red, yellow, green, orange lines
WASHINGTON (AP) - Metro says customers traveling on Metrorail this weekend can expect delays because of track work taking place on four of the system's five lines.
Buses will replace trains on parts of both the green and orange lines. On the orange line, buses will replace trains between Vienna and East Falls Church.
On the green line, buses will replace trains between Southern Avenue and Branch Avenue.
Trains will also single track on other parts of the system.
Metro says red line trains will share a single track between NoMa-Gallaudet and Fort Totten.
On the yellow line, trains will single track between Huntington and Braddock Road.
The blue line has no scheduled track work, but Metro says customers should add an additional 10 minutes to travel times because of track work elsewhere.
