Michael Brown must disclose campaign finances by Monday deadline

D.C. Councilman Michael Brown has to fully disclose his campaign finances by Monday’s deadline, the Washington Post reports.
According to the Post, Brown will have to account for all campaign receipts and expenses through August 10, the last filing deadline.
The at-large councilmember was excused from that deadline after he fired his campaign treasurer and told the Office of Campaign Finance that funds were missing, the Post reports.
Brown was first elected in 2008 to the council.
