Scientists in Africa are claiming to have discovered a brand new species of monkey, CNN reports.
In a report, led by scientist John Hart, the group claims to have discovered a species of monkey they've dubbed Cercopithecus Lomamiensis in the forests of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The report says that the monkey is locally known as the Lesula.
"It looked a bit like a monkey from much further east, but the coloring was so different and the range was so different," Hart told CNN.
