Only on 7: ABC7's Alison Starling has an exclusive interview with Judy Smith.

As the inspiration for ABC's "Scandal," Judy Smith is adjusting to her new found fame. She's stopped by Scandal fans all the time.

Although Scandal and Kerry Washington's character, Olivia Pope, are inspired by Smith and her D.C. crisis work - with everyone from Marion Barry to Monica Lewisky and Chandra Levy's family - Smith is quick to remind us it's a television show.

Smith gives Alison a peek into the new season, which premiered on ABC7 Thursday night.
