Perry Hall High School shooting: Counselor visits wounded teen
BALTIMORE (AP) - A teenager wounded in a Baltimore County school shooting has had a lot of visitors, but one standout is a guidance counselor credited with pinning the suspect against a vending machine.
In an interview this week with The Associated Press, Milton Borowy thanked Jesse Wasmer for helping students Monday at Perry Hall High. Borowy says a lot of people might run away in such a situation, but Wasmer saved students' lives.
Another student is charged in the shooting.
Daniel Borowy has Down Syndrome and attends special education classes. He is a Lady Gaga fan and wants to marry the musician. Another one of his visitors to Shock Trauma, one of his teachers, brought him a ring for his proposal.
