Montgomery County school bus crash injures six
Two adults and four children were injured when a Montgomery County school bus collided with two vehicles in Rockville, fire officials say.
Montgomery County Fire spokesperson Beth Anne Nesselt says three of the kids suffered minor injuries and one other child had serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Nesselt says three vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred near the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Great Falls Road around 8:30 a.m. Monday.
Montgomery County Schools Spokesperson Dana Tofig says the accident involved one of their school busses, which was headed to Ritchie Park Elementary School, and a Jeep. She says the students involved were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Of the six people injured, Nesselt says four children were on the bus and the two adults were in the unknown vehicles.
Crews are evaluating patients at the scene.
