Sexual assault reported on K Street, NE

D.C. police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred in the Northeast section of the city.
The victim told police she was walking in the area of 1st and K streets around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, when she was approached by a man armed with a gun. He forced her to the unit block of K Street where, police say, he sexually assaulted her before fleeing.
Investigators ask that anyone with information about the case call 202-727-9099 or message the TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
