Montgomery County Police say that a series of eight burglaries took place in at highrise and garden-style apartment buildings between Sept. 10 and 18. One specific building in the 800 block of Juniper Street was struck three times during the spree.

In each instance, authorities say that the suspect isn't necessarily breaking into the buildings all the time. In the highrise cases, the suspect allegedly follows residents into the building, while in the garden-style apartment burglaries, the suspect enters dwellings through a back door or window.

The suspect is described by Montgomery County Police as 20 to 30-year-old black man standing 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9. Detectives have released a composite sketch of the man.

Anyone with information about the burglaries or the suspect is asked to contact Montgomery County Police at (301) 565-5838 or Crime Solvers.
