The Nationals take home a win, Strasburg gets two more starts
September 3, 2012 - 07:18 am
Nats ace Stephen Strasburg knows when he's heading to the bench until the playoffs.
Manager Davey Johnson says Strasburg gets two more starts, making his final regular season appearance on September 12th in New York.
Strasburg fanned nine batters, and only gave up two hits, in six innings of work Sunday against the Cardinals. The Nats made it interesting after he left, before pulling out the four to three win. They've now won 81 games—one more than all of last season.
The Nationals host the Cubs this afternoon.
