U.S. Park Police shock man with Taser at Arlington National Cemetery
September 7, 2012 - 12:13 pm
A U.S. Park Police officer shocked a taxi cab driver with a Taser at Arlington National Cemetery Friday after the cab driver allegedly became disorderly and swung at the officer.
Authorities deployed the Taser at about 11 a.m. across from the Metro station at the Cemetery.
U.S. Park Police Spokesman Paul Brooks say the cab driver was waiting to pick up a fare when an officer approached him and asked for his licenses.
The driver refused and, once he was out of his vehicle, swung at the officer, Brooks says. The officer then shocked him with a Taser.
