A former FBI agent on trial in Prince George's County for killing an 18-year-old in a vehicle crash in 2011 was found guilty Thursday of vehicular manslaughter and several other charges.

Adrian Norvell Johnson, of Brandywine, was convicted in connection with the death of 18-year-old Lawrence Garner Jr.

The crash also seriously injured Garner's best friend, Robert Mitchell II.

Prosecutors say Johnson faces up to 13 years in prison when he's sentenced on Dec. 14.

Garner had been playing basketball with friends at the Baden Recreational Center before the crash.

Johnson's blood-alcohol level was allegedly three times the legal limit at the time of the crash. Police say he blew a .25 blood alcohol breath test. He was also allegedly speeding.

Johnson's lawyer, Robert Bonsib, said he was disappointed with the verdict. He argued that the crash was unavoidable and not his client's fault.
