American Airlines pilots protest at Reagan National Airport
October 11, 2012 - 12:09 pm
Travelers at Reagan National Airport are getting a first-hand look at the labor troubles plaguing American Airlines.
Between 40 and 50 American Airlines pilots protested Thursday at the airport.
They say the airline's management recently received bankruptcy court approval to reject the collective bargaining agreement.
Pilots say management is now implementing new terms of employment that adversely affects their working conditions, pay, and retirement security.
