Ann Coulter: 'Retard' her description of Obama in debate
Conservative pundit and author Ann Coulter was in fine form following Monday night's third and final debate between Mitt Romney and President Obama.
Or some kind of form.
She live-tweeted the proceedings and wound up with the following conclusion:
"I highly approve of Romney's decision to be kind and gentle to the retard."
As The Hollywood Reporter notes, condemnation of the comment came quickly, even from from those on Coulter's side of the aisle.
"The criticism didn't just come from Coulter's her usual detractors in Hollywood; she also heard it from some of her normal allies on the right. Fellow firebrand Michelle Malkin wrote, "What a stupid, shallow thing to say, Ann," and pointed to the conservative Twitter site Twitchy, which lambasted Coulter and said that her tweet did not represent their views." http://bit.ly/Sm9Fvr
