Crofton multi-vehicle accident injures 11

Eleven people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident in Crofton Tuesday morning, officials say.
Of the people injured, Anne Arundel Fire chief Michael Cox says one person suffered life threatening injuries, another had serious, and nine others suffered minor injuries. The victims are being treated at Prince George County Hospital, Baltimore Washington Medical Center, and Anne Arundel Medical Center, he says.
Cox says one of the vehicles involved in the seven-car accident long Route 3 caught on fire. The crash occurred shortly before 7:30 a.m. near Route 450.
The accident caused shut down roads and caused major delays extending to Waugh Chapel Road.
