Fairfax student followed home by suspicious man, WaPo reports
An alert has been issued to parents with children at West Springfield High School after a female student says she was followed home by a man, the Washington Post reports.
The Post reports that the student left the school by car Monday night and was followed by an older man she didn’t know. Once the student arrived at her home, Fairfax County Police say the man approached the student, who was able to get inside her house before he reached her, according to the Post.
The man, described as having short black hair, about 5’7” tall, and appearing to be in his later 20s or early 30s, fled the scene, the Post reports. He was driving a dark blue sedan with four doors and a rear spoiler.
