Frederick man accidentally shot by 12-year-old son

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - The Frederick County Sheriff's Office says a 48-year-old Frederick man is being treated at Shock Trauma in Baltimore after a bullet fired by his 12-year-old son bounced off a truck and hit him in the chest.
Cpl. Jennifer Bailey says the accident happened Tuesday at a farm in northern Frederick County.
She says the boy was shooting a .22-caliber rifle. Bailey says no charges are expected in the incident.
