Jerome Green, Arlington cabbie, named 'taxi driver of the year'

An Arlington cabbie who is credited with saving an elderly woman’s life and giving local school kids free rides to class has been named “taxi driver of the year.”
The Washington Post reports Jerome Green, a driver for Arlington’s Red Top Cab service, will receive his commendation at the Taxicab, Limousine & Paratransit Association’s convention this month.
Green was chosen by the national organization for his driving record and community service, the Post reports.
