Police in Leesburg are investigating the suspicious death of a Hispanic female in her early twenties that was located inside of an apartment.

The identity of the victim has not been released.

Police say the victim inside an apartment at The Fields of Leesburg in the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road about 12:40 a.m. Friday after relatives of the victim alerted them that they hadn’t made contact with her in days.

So far, no arrests have been made, but police say it’s an isolated incident and there’s no threat to the public.

The investigation is ongoing.
