Lloyd Bright arrested for killing Darryl Sweet

Police arrested a 45-year-old man Friday in connection with the July slaying of a 61-year-old man in northeast D.C.
MPD arrested Lloyd Bright, of D.C., and charged him with second degree murder for allegedly killing Darryl Eugene Sweet Sr. of Southeast.
Police say Sweet was found unresponsive in the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue on July 26. He was pronounced dead a day later.
He died from blunt force trauma to his head.
