October 8, 2012 - 06:29 am
WASHINGTON (AP) - Authorities have made an arrest in connection with the death of a 61-year-old man in northeast Washington over the summer.
Police say 45-year-old Lloyd Bright was charged last week with second-degree murder in the death of Darryl Sweet Sr. of southeast Washington.
Authorities say Sweet was found unconscious and unresponsive in the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue on July 26.
He was taken to a hospital where he died the next day from an internal head wound.
The chief medical examiner's office ruled the death a homicide by blunt force trauma to the head.
