Malik Tayvon Battle arrested for fatal hit and run of James Ralph Davidson

Police arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with a fatal hit and run in Fairfax in August.
Police arrested Malik Tayvon Battle, 22, of Strasburg, Va. in connection with the fatal hit and run of James Ralph Davidson, 52. Battle was arrested on a felony hit and run warrant.
According to police, James Ralph Davidson, 62, was in the 9800 block of Fairfax Boulevard on Aug. 18 when he attempted to cross the roadway. Police say he was struck in the eastbound lanes by a 2010 Jeep Compass driven by Battle.
Davidson, who has no known address, died at the scene.
