Man stabbed at Howard homecoming festivities

D.C. police are investigating a stabbing at a Howard University homecoming event this weekend.
According to police, a man was stabbed in the stomach early Saturday morning in the 2600 block of Georgia Avenue, NW. He was taken to a hospital and was reported to be conscious and breathing.
It wasn't immediately known whether the victim was a student or had any connection to the school.
The homecoming festivities include a football game against Howard rival Morgan State.
